Debora Katz For Bostonians, the ‘Big Dig’ is a distant memory; replaced by discussions of the ‘Big Haul’ due to a record breaking snowfall this winter. Before we let this winter of discontent melt away, however, it’s important to consider the challenges that snow accumulation has on your clients' businesses and what additional solutions you can offer. John It's all about the education! I try to inform all my customers about the proper use of their warning lighting i.e. when/when not to use. Color(s), as mentioned, is also a big issue around here! Just because they sell (whatever color) doesn't mean they're allowed. There are several instances of citations being issued locally and the poor saps always use the excuse: "then why do they sell them?"

Jay Graham I am glad to see the editorial about Snowplow strobes. This has become a concern in the towing industry. Motorists ignore the flashing lites of tow trucks because they have gotten so used to see flashing lites and lost the respect of the flashing lites of the tow trucks creating safety concerns for tow truck operators. No reason to be driving on the highway with a snow plow with lites flashing.
